The vineyard benefits from the unique terroir of limestone scree and clay soils that have eroded from these ancient peaks, combined with a microclimate that enjoys intense Mediterranean sun tempered by cool mountain breezes. Under the stewardship of Paul Jaboulet Aine, this wine is crafted to showcase the powerful yet elegant soul of Gigondas. It undergoes traditional fermentation followed by aging in oak foudres and barrels, resulting in a structured, deeply expressive red characterized by dark forest fruits, cracked black pepper, and the classic herbal perfume of the local garrigue.

Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the most revered estates in the Rhône Valley, situated along the storied slopes of Tain-l'Hermitage.
