✨ wine.spec_sheet

Crafted by the historic house of Paul Jaboulet Aîné, 'Mule Blanche' is a benchmark white Crozes-Hermitage that pays homage to the white mules that historically labored in the stony vineyards of the estate. Grown on the flat, sun-drenched alluvial terraces of the chassis plain, where the soil is covered in heat-retaining galets roulés (rounded stones), this wine is a classic, harmonious blend of equal parts Marsanne and Roussanne. The Marsanne provides structure, weight, and notes of honeysuckle and stone fruit, while the Roussanne contributes elegant aromatics, acidity, and floral lift. To preserve this delicate balance, the wine is partially vinified and aged in French oak demi-muids and concrete eggs, resulting in a beautifully textured white wine with both rich complexity and a vibrant, mineral-driven finish.
