Crafted by the historic house of Paul Jaboulet Aîné, founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, this Côtes du Rhône Villages represents a step up in character and complexity from regional bottlings. Sourced from select villages in the Southern Rhône, the wine is shaped by the region's sun-drenched, stony clay-limestone terraces and the cooling influence of the legendary Mistral wind. It is typically a classic blend dominated by Grenache, which imparts rich red berry flavors and warmth, complemented by Syrah for structure, color, and a signature grind of black pepper. Vinified traditionally in temperature-controlled vats to preserve its vibrant fruit and soft, approachable tannins, this cuvée reflects the centuries-old winemaking heritage of one of the Rhône's most iconic producers.

Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné blev grundlagt i 1834 af Antoine Jaboulet og er en af Rhône-dalens mest hæderkronede vingårde, beliggende på de sagnomspundne skråninger ved Tain-l'Hermitage. Siden 2006 har huset oplevet en dynamisk renæssance under Frey-familiens ledelse, hvor vinmager Caroline Frey har omlagt de legendariske terroirs til komplet økologisk og biodynamisk dyrkning. Huset er verdensberømt for sine skoledannende Rhône-vine – anført af den mytiske Hermitage 'La Chapelle' og den ikoniske 'Domaine de Thalabert' Crozes-Hermitage, suppleret af livlige Côtes du Rhône-aftapninger som den velkendte 'Parallèle 45'-serie.
