Planted on gentle slopes with sandy soils, the vineyard is heavily influenced by the cooling maritime breezes and persistent fog of the Pacific Ocean. Winemaker Paul Lato utilizes minimal intervention to craft a wine that captures this unique terroir, resulting in a Pinot Noir celebrated for its vibrant red fruit aromatics, elegant structure, and silky texture. Founded in 2002 by Polish-born former sommelier Paul Lato, Paul Lato Wines is an acclaimed boutique winery based in Santa Barbara County, California.
