Prima Perla, which translates to 'First Pearl', is a sparkling Rosé crafted by Domaines Paul Mas, paying homage to the Languedoc's historic sparkling wine heritage—specifically Limoux, where sparkling wine production predates Champagne. This cuvée is crafted using the traditional method, where secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle. Sourced from clay-limestone soils in cooler, high-altitude vineyard sites, the grapes retain their essential, vibrant acidity. The wine undergoes aging on its lees to develop a delicate complexity, resulting in a refined sparkling rosé characterized by its fine, persistent bubbles, bright red berry notes, and elegant, creamy texture.

Established in 1892 with roots at Château de Conas, Domaines Paul Mas was revitalized in 2000 by Jean-Claude Mas, who championed the concept of 'Luxe Rural' to showcase the premium potential of the Languedoc region. Based in Pézenas, France, the family-owned estate spans multiple vineyards across the Hérault valley, practicing sustainable and organic viticulture certified by Terra Vitis. The winery is celebrated for its expressive, Mediterranean-influenced wines, seamlessly blending traditional Southern French varieties like Marsanne, Grenache, and Syrah with international grapes. From the vibrant, everyday Claude Val and Les Tannes ranges to refined single-estate cuvées, Paul Mas delivers accessible elegance that captures the warmth and diverse terroir of the Pays d'Oc.
