Hailing from the organically farmed vineyards of Domaines Paul Mas in the Hérault valley of the Languedoc, the Mas Tannes Classique Chardonnay Vermentino is a brilliant expression of modern Southern French winemaking. This cuvée beautifully marries the rich, structural elegance of Chardonnay with the vibrant, aromatic freshness of Vermentino, locally known as Rolle. Grown on clay-limestone slopes influenced by Mediterranean breezes, the grapes are harvested at night to preserve their delicate primary aromas. The wine undergoes a meticulous cool fermentation, with a portion of the Chardonnay receiving light oak aging to add complexity and texture, while the Vermentino is kept entirely in stainless steel to maintain its crisp, citrusy drive. This harmonious blend captures the essence of the estate's 'Luxe Rural' philosophy, offering an approachable yet sophisticated white wine that reflects the sun-drenched terroir of the Pays d'Oc.

Domaines Paul Mas bygger på en stolt vinmagerarv, der går helt tilbage til 1892, men blev i sin nuværende form grundlagt i 2000 af den visionære vinmager Jean-Claude Mas nær Pézenas i Languedoc i det sydlige Frankrig.
