Hailing from the sun-drenched hillsides of the Pays d'Oc, the 'Les Tannes en Occitanie' Merlot by Paul Mas is a vibrant testament to the region's organic viticulture. The name 'Tannes' pays homage to the clay and limestone soils of the Languedoc, which retain vital moisture during the hot Mediterranean summers. This cuvée is crafted with a philosophy of 'Luxe Rural,' blending traditional southern warmth with modern precision. A portion of the wine is aged in French and American oak barrels to add subtle notes of vanilla and spice, while the remainder is kept in stainless steel to preserve the pure, luscious black plum and cherry fruit characteristics that define the Merlot grape in this historic terroir.
