Hailing from the high-altitude, chilly slopes of the Adelaide Hills, this wine represents a departure from Penfolds' historic multi-regional blending philosophy, focusing instead on the pure expression of a single premium region. The fruit is entirely hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed directly into French oak barriques for wild yeast fermentation.
