Founded in 2007 by Pierre-Henri Morel in partnership with renowned Rhône vintner Michel Chapoutier, the Pierre Henri Morel label was born from a shared passion for the diverse terroirs of the Southern Rhône Valley. Based in Tain-l'Hermitage and sourcing fruit from esteemed appellations including Vacqueyras, Gigondas, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the estate focuses on showcasing the authentic character and complexity of regional microclimates. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes meticulous parcel selection, gentle vinification, and thoughtful aging to preserve fruit purity and structural finesse. The resulting red wines, predominantly crafted from old-vine Grenache and Syrah, are celebrated for their expressive balance of dark berry fruit, savory garrigue, and refined tannins.
