Piper-Heidsieck's Vintage Brut Rosé is a masterclass in the traditional assemblage method of Champagne, combining the structure of Pinot Noir with the elegance of Chardonnay sourced from prestigious Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. Unlike the house's vibrant non-vintage Rosé Sauvage, the Vintage Rosé is crafted only in exceptional years, reflecting the unique climatology of a single harvest. A significant portion of Pinot Noir is vinified as still red wine before assembly, imparting a deep salmon hue, robust red fruit character, and refined tannins. Aged on its lees for several years in the historic chalk cellars of Reims, this cuvée develops a complex profile of toasted brioche, smoky minerality, and ripe wild berries, representing the pinnacle of the house's storied winemaking heritage.
