Le Rituel is an extraordinary collaboration between the historic Champagne house Piper-Heidsieck and the iconic luxury shoe designer Christian Louboutin. Launched in 2009, this limited-edition release revives the extravagant Belle Époque tradition of drinking Champagne from a woman's slipper—a romantic and decadent ritual popularized in 19th-century cabaret culture. The exclusive set features a bottle of Piper-Heidsieck's signature Champagne alongside a beautifully crafted crystal stiletto designed by Louboutin, complete with his trademark red sole. The Champagne itself represents the house's classic, structured style, dominated by Pinot Noir for depth and structure, Pinot Meunier for fresh red fruit character, and Chardonnay for elegance and vivacity. It is aged on its lees to develop complex notes of toasted brioche, almonds, and fresh pear.
