Piper-Heidsieck's 'Très Sec' is a sophisticated homage to the historical Champagne styles of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During this golden era, Champagnes with a slightly higher dosage—known as 'Sec' or 'Très Sec'—were highly prized across grand European salons and American high society for their rounder, more approachable profiles. This cuvée is crafted utilizing the house's signature dominance of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, which provide structure, red fruit character, and fleshiness, complemented by the freshness of Chardonnay. Sourced from choice vineyards across the Champagne region, the wine undergoes traditional method secondary fermentation and aging on its lees. The resulting blend balances the naturally high, chalky acidity of the terroir with a delicate, off-dry dosage, offering a creamy texture and a beautifully harmonious finish.
