Affectionately known as 'White Foil', Pol Roger Brut Réserve is the definitive ambassador of this historic Épernay house. This non-vintage cuvée is a masterclass in balance, crafted from equal parts of Champagne's three primary grape varieties sourced from some of the region's finest crus. The house's legendary deep, cool cellars—descending thirty meters below ground—maintain a constant temperature of 9°C, which slows the secondary fermentation to produce an exceptionally fine, persistent mousse. Pol Roger's historical connection to Sir Winston Churchill, who famously declared his loyalty to the house, adds a layer of British-French romance to every sip. The Brut Réserve undergoes a minimum of four years of aging on its lees, resulting in a complex harmony of fresh stone fruits, brioche, and a clean, mineral-driven finish.

Founded in 1849 by Pol Roger in Aÿ before establishing its historic cellars along Épernay's Avenue de Champagne in 1851, Champagne Pol Roger remains one of the preeminent family-owned Grandes Marques. The house oversees approximately 92 hectares of sustainably farmed estate vineyards across the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, and Vallée de la Marne, rooted in quintessential Campanian chalk and limestone soils. Pol Roger is renowned for vinifying exclusively in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with systematic double débourbage à froid and full malolactic conversion, preserving pristine varietal fruit and crisp structure. Aging takes place in deep, chalk-carved cellars reaching depths of 33 meters, where prolonged cool secondary fermentation produces exceptionally fine perlage, complemented by traditional hand-riddling.
