The Cuvée de Réserve Vinothèque Blanc de Blancs represents the absolute pinnacle of Pol Roger's library releases. Sourced exclusively from the prestigious Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs—including Cramant, Avize, Oger, Chouilly, and Oiry—this 100% Chardonnay Champagne undergoes an exceptionally long maturation on its lees in the house's legendary, cold chalk cellars, situated 30 meters below Épernay. The 'Vinothèque' designation denotes a late-disgorged vintage cuvée, kept in the cellars for over a decade before release. This extended contact with the yeast, combined with Pol Roger's traditional hand-riddling and cool fermentation, yields a Champagne of breathtaking complexity, balancing vibrant citrus and chalky minerality with rich notes of toasted brioche, hazelnut, and candied lemon peel.
