Pol Roger's non-vintage Brut Réserve, affectionately known as 'White Foil,' is the definitive ambassador of the house style, representing a masterclass in consistency and balance. This cuvée is crafted from equal parts of Champagne's three primary grape varieties, sourced from 30 different crus. The house's legendary cellars in Épernay—descending 30 meters underground where temperatures remain a cool 9°C—allow for an exceptionally slow second fermentation, resulting in an incredibly fine, persistent mousse. Each bottle is aged for a minimum of four years on its lees before disgorgement, far exceeding the legal requirement. This patient maturation, combined with traditional hand-riddling, imparts a signature complexity, marrying fresh pear and brioche aromas with a rich, creamy texture that once captivated Sir Winston Churchill himself.

Founded in 1849 by Pol Roger in Aÿ before establishing its historic cellars along Épernay's Avenue de Champagne in 1851, Champagne Pol Roger remains one of the preeminent family-owned Grandes Marques. The house oversees approximately 92 hectares of sustainably farmed estate vineyards across the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, and Vallée de la Marne, rooted in quintessential Campanian chalk and limestone soils. Pol Roger is renowned for vinifying exclusively in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with systematic double débourbage à froid and full malolactic conversion, preserving pristine varietal fruit and crisp structure. Aging takes place in deep, chalk-carved cellars reaching depths of 33 meters, where prolonged cool secondary fermentation produces exceptionally fine perlage, complemented by traditional hand-riddling.
