✨ Technical Specifications

Pol Roger's Rich Demi-Sec is a masterful homage to the historical preferences of the 19th century, when sweeter Champagnes reigned supreme in the grand salons of Europe. Crafted from an equal blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay sourced from approximately 30 different crus, this cuve shares the same base structure as the house's iconic Brut Rserve. The defining feature is its dosage of around 34 grams per liter, added after a minimum of four years of aging in the deep, cold chalk cellars of pernay. This sweetness is beautifully counterbalanced by the natural, crisp acidity of the Champagne terroir, creating a remarkably harmonious, velvety texture with notes of honey, stone fruits, and warm brioche.

🍾 About the Producer

Founded in 1849 by Pol Roger, this venerable Champagne house is situated along the celebrated Avenue de Champagne in Épernay, France. Remaining proudly independent and family-owned across generations of the Pol-Roger and de Billy families, the maison maintains a steadfast commitment to traditional methods, including extensive aging in cool, deep chalk cellars and manual riddling. Pol Roger is internationally celebrated for producing structured, refined Champagnes defined by balance and elegance, ranging from its quintessential non-vintage Brut Réserve to the prestigious, Pinot Noir-dominant Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill.
