Port Ellen is one of the most legendary 'ghost' distilleries of Scotland, located on the south coast of Islay. Closed in 1983 during a period of industry downturn, its remaining stocks became highly coveted. The 15th Release, distilled in 1983 and bottled in 2015 at 32 years of age, represents some of the final spirit ever produced before the silent years.
