Born from a philosophy of absolute minimal intervention, the wine is produced using 100% whole-cluster fermentation with native yeasts and is bottled without filtration or added sulfur. Established in 1988 by the late Henry-Frédéric Roch—grandson of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti's Henry Leroy and long-time DRC co-director—Domaine Prieuré Roch stands as a vanguard of natural, terroir-driven viticulture in Burgundy. Headquartered in Prémeaux-Prissey, the domaine encompasses exceptional parcels across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, rooted in classic jurassic limestone and clay-rich soils. Managed and vinified by co-director and cellar master Yannick Champ, the estate adheres rigorously to organic and biodynamic viticulture, entirely eschewing synthetic chemicals.
