The Produttori del Barbaresco Crus Collection Assortment Case represents the pinnacle of cooperative winemaking. Founded in 1958 by the village priest, Don Fiorino Marengo, to unite local growers, the cooperative revived a tradition started in 1894 by Domizio Cavazza. In exceptional vintages, Produttori releases nine distinct single-vineyard Riserva wines: Asili, Rabaja, Rio Sordo, Ovello, Montestefano, Paje, Muncagota, Montefico, and Pora. Each is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo, fermented with long skin contact, and aged for 36 months in traditional large Slavonian oak casks. This assortment case offers a legendary liquid map of Barbaresco's diverse terroir, contrasting the elegant, floral, sandy soils of Asili against the powerful, structured, clay-rich soils of Montestefano.
