The 'Moonlighters' Red Blend captures the very essence and founding rebellious spirit of RedHeads. The name pays homage to the passionate winemakers who, during the early days of the RedHeads cooperative, would work their demanding day jobs at large, corporate Australian wineries, only to 'moonlight' late into the night to craft their own artisanal, small-batch wines. This blend is a celebration of that nocturnal dedication, typically combining the rich, dark fruit characters of South Australian Shiraz with the structural elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon and the fleshy, plum-like depth of Malbec. Fermented in small batches and aged with careful oak influence, the resulting wine is generous, smooth, and packed with character, offering a taste of the freedom and creativity that defined the original studio.
