The Back Shed by RedHeads is a liquid tribute to the winery's humble, garage-winemaking origins. Before establishing their state-of-the-art, eco-friendly facility in the Barossa, the RedHeads revolution started in a literal rented back shed in McLaren Vale. It was there that a group of rebellious, free-thinking winemakers gathered to escape corporate constraints, sharing ideas and handcrafting tiny parcels of fruit. This wine captures that original, collaborative spirit. Sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia, it is a classic Australian blend that marries the rich, dark plum and pepper notes of Shiraz with the structured, leafy blackcurrant character of Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented in small batches with traditional minimal-intervention techniques, it offers a plush, generous palate balanced by fine-grained oak integration.

Established in 2002 in McLaren Vale by Tony Laithwaite as a collaborative studio for rebellious winemakers, RedHeads has since evolved into a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly winery located in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.
