Named after the Latin word for war, this cuvée represents the creative tension and ultimate synergy between South Australia's two powerhouse red grapes: Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from select low-yielding vineyards in premium South Australian regions, the fruit undergoes traditional small-batch fermentation before aging in oak. The result is a dramatic, full-bodied red where the plush, dark-fruit opulence and spice of Shiraz clashes with and ultimately complements the structured, minty, and structured spine of Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a modern testament to the classic Australian blend, delivered with the signature rebellious spirit and artistic flair of the RedHeads winemaking team.
