Rémy Martin Centaure Diamant is a magnificent expression of Fine Champagne Cognac, representing the pinnacle of the house's blending artistry. Created by Cellar Master Pierrette Trichet in 2010, this ultra-premium spirit is crafted from a selection of the finest eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus—the two most prestigious growing areas in the Cognac region. The blend utilizes traditional Ugni Blanc grapes along with touches of Colombard and Folle Blanche, distilled on the lees in small copper stills to preserve richness. It is aged for decades in toasted Limousin oak casks, developing an incredibly complex profile of plum, hazelnut, and delicate floral notes. The name pays homage to the iconic Centaur symbol adopted by Paul-Émile Rémy Martin in 1870, symbolizing the union of man and nature, while 'Diamant' reflects the gem-like purity and multifaceted complexity of this rare blend.
