✨ Technical Specifications
First introduced in 1981, Rémy Martin XO Excellence is a masterful tribute to the prestigious Fine Champagne terroir. By law, Fine Champagne Cognac must blend eaux-de-vie exclusively from the region's two premier crus, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, with at least half coming from the former. The chalky soils of these historic crus yield grapes of exceptional acidity and finesse, which are double-distilled on the lees in traditional copper stills. Aged in toasted Limousin oak casks for up to several decades, this complex spirit weaves a rich narrative of candied orange, dried figs, jasmine, and warm baking spices, culminating in the highly prized, earthy 'rancio' character that only comes with extensive maturation.
