Founded in 1724 by a young winegrower, the House of Rémy Martin has spent three centuries perfecting the art of Cognac. The 'Fine Champagne Superieur' is a testament to this heritage, crafted exclusively from the chalk-rich soils of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne—the two most prestigious crus of the Cognac region. By French law, a 'Fine Champagne' must contain at least 50% Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. These soils, rich in limestone, impart a remarkable finesse, floral complexity, and longevity to the grapes, which are primarily Ugni Blanc. Distilled on the lees in traditional small copper Charentais stills and aged in Limousin oak casks, this expression delivers a harmonious blend of dried fruits, warm spices, and subtle floral notes, embodying the legendary craftsmanship of the house.
