Founded in 1724 by a visionary winegrower, the house of Remy Martin carries a legacy of royal recognition, notably receiving the Accord Royal from King Louis XV in 1738. The Vintage Premier Cru is a rare testament to this heritage, sourced exclusively from the chalky, sun-drenched soils of Grande Champagne, the undisputed premier cru of the Cognac region. Crafted primarily from Ugni Blanc grapes, the spirit undergoes traditional double distillation on the lees in small copper Charentais stills, a meticulous process that imparts unparalleled depth and texture. The resulting eaux-de-vie are then cradled for decades in toasted Limousin oak casks, absorbing rich tannins and developing a complex tapestry of dried fruits, floral notes, and warm spices.
