Robert Mondavi Winery’s Moscato d'Oro is a celebrated sweet dessert wine that pays homage to the classic Muscat Canelli (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains) grape. Rooted in the pioneering spirit of Robert Mondavi, who established his legendary Oakville winery in 1966, this wine is crafted to capture the pure, vibrant essence of the grape. Grown primarily in the warm, sun-drenched soils of Napa Valley—often sourced from the Wappo Hill Vineyard in the Stags Leap District—the grapes benefit from cool afternoon breezes that preserve their natural acidity. To retain its luscious sweetness and intense aromatics of orange blossom, wild honey, and ripe peach, the wine undergoes a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, which is halted early to keep the alcohol level low and the natural sugars high. This wine represents Mondavi's vision of bringing European-style dessert wines to the forefront of American winemaking.

Den visionære vinmager Robert Mondavi grundlagde Robert Mondavi Winery i Oakville i 1966 med en klar ambition: at skabe vine i Napa Valley, som kunne måle sig med verdens ypperste vinhuse.
