Isabelle's Vineyard, named in honor of founder Al Scheid's mother, is one of Scheid Vineyards' most cherished estate sites. Located in the cooler northern reaches of Monterey County, this vineyard is heavily influenced by the morning fog and brisk afternoon winds sweeping in from the deep submarine canyon of Monterey Bay. This dramatic microclimate extends the growing season, allowing white grapes to develop rich, concentrated flavors while retaining a vibrant, crisp acidity. To commemorate their landmark 50th anniversary, Scheid highlighted the exceptional fruit from this signature estate. The resulting white wine showcases the classic cool-climate Monterey terroir, combining bright citrus and stone fruit notes with an elegant mineral backbone and a touch of well-integrated oak from traditional aging methods.

Scheid Vineyards blev grundlagt i 1972 af Al Scheid og er en pionervirksomhed beliggende i hjertet af Salinas Valley i Californiens Monterey County. Gennem fem årtier har den familieejede vingård udvidet sit virke til tolv unikke vinmarker, hvor man udnytter den markante, kølende havbrise fra Monterey Bay til at dyrke en bred vifte af druesorter. Vingården er dybt engageret i bæredygtighed, drives udelukkende af vedvarende vindenergi og arbejder efter strenge, certificerede bæredygtige principper. Scheid Vineyards er anerkendt for sin alsidige portefølje af levende hvid-, rød- og rosévine og fremstiller både roste enkeltdruevine på eksempelvis Cabernet Sauvignon, Albariño og Barbera samt håndværksmæssige cuvéer som deres Claret Reserve.
