This 'windfinder' effect allows the grapes to develop thick skins, deep color, and concentrated flavors while preserving a vibrant, balancing acidity. Crafted from estate-grown vineyards, this red blend showcases a harmonious marriage of rich, dark fruit flavors, structured tannins, and a touch of spice, reflecting the rugged beauty and innovative spirit of wind-powered winegrowing in Greenfield.

Scheid Vineyards blev grundlagt i 1972 af Al Scheid og er en pionervirksomhed beliggende i hjertet af Salinas Valley i Californiens Monterey County. Gennem fem årtier har den familieejede vingård udvidet sit virke til tolv unikke vinmarker, hvor man udnytter den markante, kølende havbrise fra Monterey Bay til at dyrke en bred vifte af druesorter. Vingården er dybt engageret i bæredygtighed, drives udelukkende af vedvarende vindenergi og arbejder efter strenge, certificerede bæredygtige principper.
