Named with a playful nod to the approachable and friendly nature of the wine, it is crafted to showcase bright fruit purity and immediate appeal. Sourced from premium vineyards across Victoria, including the cool-climate maritime sites of the Bellarine Peninsula, this Shiraz benefits from the region's ancient volcanic soils and cooling ocean breezes. Unlike the more structured, cellar-worthy estate wines, Jack & Jill is fermented and aged with subtle oak influence to preserve its juicy dark berry flavors, soft tannins, and cracked black pepper spice. It captures the spirit of modern Australian winemaking—unpretentious, expressive, and deeply tied to the coastal landscape.

Scotchmans Hill blev grundlagt i 1982 af David og Catherine Browne og er en pioner på den kystnære Bellarine Peninsula i Victorias anerkendte Geelong-vinregion. Vingården råder over en rig, vulkansk basaltjordbund og nyder godt af et tørt, køligt mikroklima, der tempereres af de maritime briser fra Port Phillip Bay og Bass Strait. Under ledelse af den mangeårige chefvinmager Robin Brockett arbejder huset med minimal intervention og præcisionsdyrkning for at udtrykke det autentiske terroir. Scotchmans Hill er særligt berømt for sine elegante Pinot Noir-vine, komplekse Chardonnay, køligt prægede Shiraz samt den eksklusive Cornelius-enkeltmarksserie.
