The Seguin-Manuel Bourgogne Rouge is a classic expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir, crafted to showcase the vibrant fruit and elegant structure typical of the region's entry-tier reds. Sourced from selected vineyards across Burgundy, this wine benefits from the estate's meticulous approach to viticulture and low-intervention winemaking. Under the guidance of Thibaut Marion, whose family legacy in Burgundy dates back generations, the grapes are hand-harvested and fermented using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in French oak casks with a very low percentage of new oak to round out its texture while preserving the bright, crunchy red fruit character—such as wild strawberry, red cherry, and a touch of forest floor—that defines classic Pinot Noir from this historic region.

Founded in 1824 in the historic heart of Beaune, Seguin-Manuel is a venerable Burgundy house revitalized in 2004 under the direction of Thibaut Marion, a descendant of the historic Chanson wine family. The estate is dedicated to organic farming, achieving official certification in 2015, and employs traditional, low-intervention winemaking techniques, including aging in French oak casks to preserve the purity of the fruit. Renowned for its elegant, precise, and terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the house produces outstanding estate wines from key appellations such as Savigny-lès-Beaune and Puligny-Montrachet, alongside prestigious Hospices de Beaune bottlings like the Cuvée Charlotte Dumay and Cuvée Dames de la Charité.
