Hailing from the precipitous, blue-slate slopes of the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, this exceptional Riesling is crafted from 'Ur-Alte Reben'—ancient, ungrafted vines, some of which are over a century old. The vineyard itself is legendary, named after the historic sundial erected in 1620 by Abbot Johannes Cardon to guide the vineyard workers. These ancient roots dig deep into the Devonian slate, yielding tiny, concentrated berries that capture the pure essence of the terroir.
