✨ wine.spec_sheet

The Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese * (One Star) from Selbach-Oster is a masterclass in Mosel terroir, sourced from the incredibly steep, blue-slate slopes of the legendary Zeltinger Sonnenuhr (Sundial) vineyard. The asterisk denotes a special selection of grapes with higher must weight and exceptional concentration, often harvested from older, self-rooted vines. Steeped in history, the sundial itself was erected in 1842 by Jodocus Prüm to guide vineyard workers. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in traditional, large oak Fuder casks, this 100% Riesling beautifully balances rich, exotic stone fruit sweetness with a vibrant, electric spine of slate-driven acidity and smoky minerality.
