The Black Label expression (No. 55) is crafted using a blend of select grains and is distilled in traditional copper pot stills alongside modern column stills. This specific production method, reminiscent of traditional batch distillation, gives the spirit a remarkably smooth, round texture, a slightly oily mouthfeel, and delicate hints of sweet grain and spice, distinguishing it from standard column-distilled spirits.
