Suntory's Royal blend holds a sacred place in Japanese spirits history. Originally created in 1960 by the legendary founder Shinjiro Torii to mark the company's 60th anniversary, it served as his final masterpiece. The bottle's distinctive silhouette is inspired by the traditional torii gate of the Yamazaki Shinto Shrine, symbolizing the gateway to a spiritual realm. This premium 15-Year-Old expression is a highly prized, discontinued gem within this historic lineage. It showcases a masterful blend of aged malt and grain whiskies sourced from Suntory's pioneering distilleries, Yamazaki and Hakushu. Matured in a mix of casks, including Spanish oak sherry butts and American white oak, it delivers a complex profile of dried dark fruits, rich sandalwood, subtle peat smoke, and a signature Japanese oak (mizunara) spice, reflecting the pinnacle of mid-century Japanese blending craftsmanship.

Suntory blev grundlagt i 1899 af Shinjiro Torii i Osaka, Japan. Huset startede oprindeligt som en beskeden vinhandel, men revolutionerede siden drikkevareverdenen, da de i 1923 grundlagde Yamazaki Distillery og dermed banede vejen for autentisk japansk whisky.
