The Taittinger Collection was conceived in the late 20th century by Claude Taittinger, who sought to bridge the worlds of fine art and exceptional Champagne. For this highly collectible release, the house commissioned the renowned French-American artist Arman, famous for his 'accumulation' artworks. Arman designed the bottle for the 1981 vintage (released in 1985), wrapping it in a striking visual tribute of golden violins that represents the harmony between music and the blending of fine wine.
