Commissioned by Claude Taittinger, the Taittinger Collection was conceived to bridge the worlds of fine art and exceptional Champagne. The inaugural release featured the 1978 vintage wrapped in a striking, screen-printed geometric design by Victor Vasarely, the Hungarian-French pioneer of Op Art. Vasarely's optical illusions on the bottle beautifully mirror the vibrant, effervescent play of light within the glass. Inside this artistic vessel is Taittinger's prestigious vintage Champagne, crafted only in exceptional years. Sourced from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, the wine undergoes extensive cellar aging in historic chalk crayères, developing a complex harmony of toasted brioche, ripe citrus, and mineral precision.

Tracing its foundations back to 1734 when the original house was established by Jacques Fourneaux, Champagne Taittinger took its modern identity in 1932 under the visionary leadership of Pierre Taittinger. Headquartered in Reims within the historic Champagne region of France, the family-owned house matures its finest cuvées inside UNESCO-listed Gallo-Roman chalk caves beneath the ancient Abbey of Saint-Nicaise. Taittinger is distinguished by its defining reliance on Chardonnay, crafting champagnes celebrated for their elegance, minerality, and delicate aromatics. The house's supreme expression is the iconic Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, a benchmark vintage champagne produced exclusively from top Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs.
