✨ Technical Specifications

This exceptional release is part of the prestigious Taittinger Collection, where fine art meets fine wine. Commissioned by Claude Taittinger, the 1982 vintage bottle was designed by the celebrated Dutch artist Corneille (Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo), a co-founder of the avant-garde CoBrA movement. His signature vibrant, expressive style—characterized by bold colors and playful figures of birds and nature—wraps the bottle, reflecting the joyful spirit of the Champagne within. The wine itself is a rare vintage Brut, crafted only in exceptional years from a selection of Grand Cru vineyards. It undergoes extended cellar aging in Taittinger's historic Gallo-Roman chalk crayères, developing a complex profile of toasted brioche, ripe stone fruits, and refined mineral precision.

🍾 About the Producer

Tracing its foundations back to 1734 when the original house was established by Jacques Fourneaux, Champagne Taittinger took its modern identity in 1932 under the visionary leadership of Pierre Taittinger. Headquartered in Reims within the historic Champagne region of France, the family-owned house matures its finest cuvées inside UNESCO-listed Gallo-Roman chalk caves beneath the ancient Abbey of Saint-Nicaise. Taittinger is distinguished by its defining reliance on Chardonnay, crafting champagnes celebrated for their elegance, minerality, and delicate aromatics. The house's supreme expression is the iconic Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, a benchmark vintage champagne produced exclusively from top Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs.
