Named after the precise latitude of the Carbost distillery on the Isle of Skye, Talisker 57° North is a powerful single malt that captures the raw, elemental beauty of its rugged coastal home. Bottled at a robust 57% ABV to match its geographic coordinate, this expression is matured in American oak casks, allowing the distillery's signature maritime character to shine through with intense concentration. The spirit is crafted using Talisker's traditional five-still configuration and wooden worm tubs, which impart a signature oily texture. It weaves a rich sensory tale of explosive peat smoke, sea spray, sweet malt, and a fiery, black pepper finish that pays homage to the legendary storms of the Inner Hebrides.

Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye.
