The Talisker Bodega Series No. 2 41 Year Old is an extraordinary, ultra-rare single malt that pays homage to the historic trade relationship between the Isle of Skye and the legendary sherry bodegas of Spain. Distilled in 1978, this expression is among the oldest whiskies ever released by the distillery. It was finished in six hand-selected casks that previously held the exquisite, forty-year-old La Goya Manzanilla sherry from Delgado Zuleta, one of the oldest sherry houses in Jerez. This lengthy maturation marries Talisker's classic maritime character—defined by peat smoke, sea salt, and a fiery black pepper finish—with the delicate, dry, and fruit-forward complexity of aged Manzanilla, resulting in an incredibly layered and harmonious spirit.

Established in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, Talisker Distillery is located in Carbost on the Isle of Skye, Scotland (Carbost, Isle of Skye, IV47 8SR, United Kingdom; official website: https://www.malts.com/en-row/distilleries/talisker). As the oldest operating distillery on Skye, Talisker is world-renowned for its distinctive maritime character, combining intense peat smoke, sea salt, and a trademark fiery, black pepper finish. The distillery's unique five-still setup and traditional wooden worm tubs contribute to the oily, full-bodied texture of its spirit. Today, under Diageo's ownership, Talisker continues to produce highly coveted single malts, including its classic 10 Year Old, the elegant 18 Year Old, and exceptional older releases like the 25 Year Old and the rare Bodega Series.
