This cask-strength single malt pays homage to the Portuguese caravel ships that braved the open seas, mirroring Skye's own maritime heritage. In a bold stylistic departure, this whisky was finished in a combination of Ruby, White, and Tawny Port casks. This unique maturation marries Talisker's legendary coastal character—defined by intense peat smoke, brine, and a trademark cracked black pepper kick—with the rich, succulent sweetness of dark stone fruits, ripe berries, and warming spices.
