Talisker Skye is an evocative single malt Scotch whisky that pays homage to the wild, majestic landscapes of its home island. Crafted on the rugged shores of Loch Harport, this expression is matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks, with a slightly higher proportion of toasted casks to soften the distillery's legendary fiery edge. The result is a beautifully balanced spirit where Talisker's signature maritime peat smoke, sea salt, and explosive black pepper finish are rounded out by sweet notes of fresh citrus, honeyed malt, and warm vanilla. Founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the windswept shores of Loch Harport in Carbost, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery on the Isle of Skye.
