Talisker Skye is an evocative single malt Scotch whisky that pays homage to the wild, majestic landscapes of its home island. Crafted on the rugged shores of Loch Harport, this expression is matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks, with a slightly higher proportion of toasted casks to soften the distillery's legendary fiery edge. The result is a beautifully balanced spirit where Talisker's signature maritime peat smoke, sea salt, and explosive black pepper finish are rounded out by sweet notes of fresh citrus, honeyed malt, and warm vanilla. It captures the very essence of the wind-swept Isle of Skye, offering an approachable yet deeply characterful dram that reflects the distillery's nearly two centuries of coastal distilling heritage.

Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye. Destilleriet er berømt for sit unikke destillationsapparat med svanehalsede wash stills og traditionelle, udendørs worm tubs (kondenseringskar), som tilfører råspritten en karakteristisk maritim og vulkansk intensitet.
