Originally praised by poet Robert Louis Stevenson as the king of drinks, Talisker's spirit undergoes a magical transformation over three decades in refill oak casks. The distillery's traditional wooden worm tubs and coastal maturation allow the fierce, peppery peat of its youth to soften into an incredibly elegant, complex dram.
