Tardieu-Laurent's white wines represent a masterclass in the expression of the Rhône Valley's diverse terroirs. Sourced from low-yielding, exceptionally old vines across the region, this white blend captures the essence of traditional Southern Rhône white winemaking. The grapes—typically a harmonious assembly of Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Clairette—are carefully selected and vinified with minimal intervention. Michel and Bastien Tardieu employ a refined aging regimen, often utilizing seasoned French oak barrels to impart a subtle, creamy texture and complex spicy undertones without overshadowing the vibrant, sun-drenched stone fruit and floral aromatics. This approach honors the ancient viticultural heritage of the Rhône, where vineyards have been carved into the hillsides since Roman times, creating a wine of remarkable depth, minerality, and gastronomic versatility.

Maison Tardieu-Laurent blev grundlagt i 1994 af Michel Tardieu og Dominique Laurent og er en prestigefyldt mikro-négociant med base i den maleriske landsby Lourmarin i det sydfranske Luberon. I dag drives huset af Michel Tardieu og sønnen Bastien, som sammen fungerer som en exceptionel 'négociant-éleveur'. De udvælger udelukkende druer og unge vine af absolut højeste kvalitet fra meget gamle vinstokke i Rhône-dalens bedste crus. Huset er berømt for sin kompromisløse respekt for terroiret og den traditionelle élevage, hvor vinene modnes tålmodigt på specialfremstillede franske egetræsfade uden hverken klaring eller filtrering. Tardieu-Laurent nyder stor international anerkendelse for sine rige, koncentrerede og strukturede vine med et enestående lagringspotentiale – lige fra ikoniske appellationer som Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Hermitage og Cornas til den anmelderroste Côtes du Rhône, Les Becs Fins.
