Tardieu-Laurent's red wines represent a masterclass in the diverse terroirs of the Rhone Valley. Operating as a premier micro-negoce, the house focuses on sourcing fruit from exceptionally old vines, or 'vieilles vignes', through long-standing relationships with top growers across both the Northern and Southern Rhone. This dedication to old vines ensures natural low yields and an incredible concentration of fruit. In the cellar, the winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention combined with precise, customized barrel aging. The resulting red wines beautifully capture the contrast of the region: from the structured, black-pepper-scented Syrahs of the northern granite slopes to the rich, warm, garrigue-infused Grenache blends of the southern clay and limestone terraces. Each bottle reflects a commitment to preserving the pure, unadulterated voice of the vineyard.

Maison Tardieu-Laurent blev grundlagt i 1994 af Michel Tardieu og Dominique Laurent og er en prestigefyldt mikro-négociant med base i den maleriske landsby Lourmarin i det sydfranske Luberon. I dag drives huset af Michel Tardieu og sønnen Bastien, som sammen fungerer som en exceptionel 'négociant-éleveur'. De udvælger udelukkende druer og unge vine af absolut højeste kvalitet fra meget gamle vinstokke i Rhône-dalens bedste crus. Huset er berømt for sin kompromisløse respekt for terroiret og den traditionelle élevage, hvor vinene modnes tålmodigt på specialfremstillede franske egetræsfade uden hverken klaring eller filtrering.
