The Tedeschi family has been crafting wine in the heart of Valpolicella for nearly four centuries, and the Fabriseria label represents the absolute pinnacle of their viticultural heritage. The name itself pays homage to the 'fabbriceria'—the local parish council—recalling a historical tradition where the finest, most exceptional barrels of the harvest were reserved for the parish priest and distinguished community guests. Sourced from high-altitude, stony vineyards in the hills of the Valpolicella Classico zone, this powerful red is crafted from a traditional blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta. The grapes undergo a meticulous 'appassimento' drying process for several months to concentrate their sugars, acids, and polyphenols. Following a slow fermentation, the wine is aged for several years in Slavonian oak casks, resulting in an incredibly complex, muscular, yet elegant profile defined by dark dried fruits, cocoa, sweet spices, and balsamic undertones.
