The 2021 Guidalberto is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot from the Bolgheri region in Tuscany. The vineyards feature diverse soils composed of clay, sand, limestone, and stony gravel. The 2021 vintage was marked by a dry, warm summer with significant diurnal temperature variations, allowing the grapes to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness while retaining fresh acidity. The wine underwent fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and was aged for 15 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional three months of bottle aging before release.

Tenuta San Guido is a legendary wine estate situated along the Etruscan Coast in the Bolgheri sub-region of Tuscany, Italy. The estate's modern viticultural legacy began in the 1940s when Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc on the gravelly soils of Castiglioncello, pioneering a Bordeaux-inspired revolution in Italian winemaking.
