✨ Technical Specifications

The Milkwood by The Grape Grinder is an approachable, fruit-driven South African red wine crafted from prime vineyards across the Western Cape. Named after the indigenous Milkwood trees that dot the coastal landscape, this bottling reflects the modern winemaking movement in Paarl and surrounding regions. Sourced from ancient soils of weathered granite and shale, the grapes benefit from bright sunshine balanced by cooling maritime breezes from the Benguela Current. Fermented in stainless steel with controlled oak aging, it yields a soft, supple red with layered dark fruit and subtle spice.
