The Gagauz people, a Turkic-speaking Christian enclave, have cultivated these lands for generations, adapting to the warm, semi-arid climate tempered by gentle breezes from the nearby Black Sea basin. Established in 1903, Tomai (Tomai-Vinex) is a historic Moldovan winery located in the village of Tomai within the sun-drenched southern region of Gagauzia.
